Well not the start to the season we wanted and most did not expect. For the most part, we all knew they had a better and deeper roster. We would need to play a near perfect game, and take advantage of their mistakes. We did neither. I have not drank the kool-aid for several years, but with all the hype and talk I began to think, well maybe. That was just an ass kicking. What is most depressing is UPS HCJF, who is not considered a good game day coach, took HCNB to the woodshed. We can still have a decent year but, the talk of HCNB has finally grown into the job and turned the corner needs to end. With all the talk about bigger, faster, stronger players, physical practice, more full pads so we are ready coming out of the gate. Just stop. QBs’ improved and more confident. Just stop. On a positive note HCNB has never given up and I don’t think he has ever lost the team. So he will get to work and go about business the rest of the season, and we still have 11 games to play. LGM.

Well, @WV Cooler and I are tied at 8 picks each with one game to play and all players have picked FSU over BC tonight. WV Cooler owns the tie-breaker, so congrats to him for winning the first week. I'll post stats later, but with only 4 players in the game this week it won't be much to do. I'll get to it later.

Bad game day for The Mountaineers and a longer than expected holiday weekend for me, but I'm caught up and have my tally ready. But first, let me say that I won't panic just yet although it was obvious that the pre-game hype, getting smashed in the mouth and game plan panic contributed to the horrific performance last Saturday. The rest of this month we've got a favorable schedule, but to me the month will come down to the last two games with Pitt and KU. Crap the bed on those two and the bye week can't come soon enough with visions of 2022 coming back like a PTSD flashback.
