Curious as to the generalized view around here of this new TGL thing........obviously nobody asked me; but FWIW, I'm finding myself largely meh on the entire proposition. For the record, I certainly wouldn't presume to criticize anyone who finds the simulator idea (and, in particular, the over-the-top TGL venue) to be interesting.

As an admittedly-devout PGA Tour fan, I'm reasonably happy for the concept to exist in a vacuum; however, myself haven't found the competition/game to be particularly compelling in a general sense......and that's regardless who's playing. I do admit to finding some of the verbal exchanges between competitors to be fun.; and I won't deny to be more interested in watching Woods or McElroy than, say, a Cam Young or Wyndham Clark.

But on the whole, I'm typically not very upset if I miss the evening's event(s) altogether. Granted the concept remains essentially brand new, and I presume there's incentive to further develop the idea over time given ESPN's (and the big sponsors) financial stake. But, I freely admit I'd like to, well, like it far more than I do......of course, maybe that's because concept isn't really targeted toward old farts like me.

Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone has found TGL to be any kind of must-see-TV.
