OT: Pearl Washington is dead.

At the age of 52 from a brain tumor. Pearl was something to watch. His play as a freshman caused Dick Vitale to coin the term "diaper dandy" for players like Washington and blurt out his catch phrase "Dispsy-doo-dunkeroo" as Washington went on one four against St. Johns down the lane to jam it home.

ESPN, Dick Vitale, and Jim Boeheim owe their success to the Pearl. RIP Mr. Playground.
