OT: OBX Blue Crabs

Headed to Corolla on Friday. The family usually vacays in OC and loves the MD blue crabs. Are the ones at OBX similar in taste and size?

Also, our check in Saturday and I hear traffic is a bitch going in. Is it similar to getting across the bay bridge on a busy Friday? And lastly, Saturday is my birthday so any family friendly spots to eat nearby?
