A/C at my moms is running inconsistently. Mountain Aire in wheeling came Monday . The outside fan for heat pump was not spinning. Of course When they came on Monday the fan was running. they checked the air filter and it was dirty. Replaced it and everything was running normal until Tuesday afternoon.
Tuesday it looked like condensate pump was not running and water leaked on floor. Gave them a call and they are coming Thursday. I am sure they have much more important repairs to make with all the flooding.
I just went outside and it looks like the fan is not running again.
My question is when should the outside fan unit run?
