He talked about the portal Latrell Wrightsell Jr. who had a solid, but not exceptional field goal percentage and effective field goal percentage. He said when he looked at the statistics closer, over half of his shots were midrange 2 point shots which he said would lower the field goal percentage. He looked at it from the perspective of the shots he’d take at Alabama in his system. His catch and shoot rate and uncontested catch and shoot rate and they were very good. He had a 44% three point percentage last season.
He also said his best shooters have to take open shots and not pass them up in his system.
