I think this is total BS. NCAA created the portal disaster and loosened all the rules so players could bail before bowl games, then fine Moo $100K because they can't field a team? There's too many bowl games as well and I'm sure E$PN was upset their over-saturation was impacted.

The Sun Belt fined Marshall $100,000 for opting out of the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl even though its roster had been depleted to 41 players after coach Charles Huff's exit and as many as 36 players entering the transfer portal.
