This is great news. Looks like dexamethasone is actually reducing mortality by 12%. Doesn't sound like much, but that may be tens of thousands of lives saved.

There are multiple injectable steroids available other than DMS that can be used as well. They should be readily stocked, cheap, generic, multiple manufacturers.
Correction: apparently decreases in mortality are much higher.
