I had to order it and start reading it after discovering that this apocalyptic series is based on Black Mountain and Montreat, NC, after recent events.
It does have a ring of plausibility if you're considering a community attempting to survive the unsurvivable. I'll be the prepper family he only mentions a few times in the book/series. I read the first book in 2.25 days.
