About that NB led Organization is the lack of playing time for the young explosive guys.
How many times over the last couple administrations(specifically Dana, but Stewart and RR as well)did we have true freshman guys get on the field and make a serious impact?

We used to have high rated recruits come in and get the fan base fired up. For the last 5 years we had to sit there and hear “well they’re not quite ready yet” as the position group they belong to continues to suck. I mean we had to wait basically 6 whole games to get an actual look at Jaheim White, when he was very clearly the best back we had. He proceeded to average 8 yards a carry and ran for 800 yards over the second half of the season. Making play after play.

Was Dayday Farmer any good? Who the hell knows??!?! He was stuck behind offensive juggernauts like Bray, Robinson, and Fox. Now he’s gone, and we have no idea what kind of player he was. Top rated recruit….poof….gone.

I’m so ready to see a kid like Karl Joseph, Kenny Robinson, Tykee Smith, Jovon Durante etc. get some actual PT and get the fan base excited for the future.

It was a microcosm of everything that led Neal Browns program to mediocrity…….PLAY NOT TO LOSE. Zero Risk. Zero Excitement. Zero fun. The only fun I had over the 6 years of that “experiment” was watching Garrett Greene ad lib his way around the field, and I give basically zero credit for that to NB or any of his staff.

It’s time to get back to WVU Football ladies and gentlemen.
