I don't expect you will ever get anything close to honesty out of any of these coaches anywhere ---
Have you ever heard (particularly in college football) a coach call out a specific player in a press conference --- at most a coach might say "we need to be better at the QB position" --- etc. I can't remember a college coach calling out a player by name.
I think the pressers are almost worthless (no offense @Keenan Cummings cause I think you do a great job covering them) --- no matter the coach. Remember it isn't just Neal -- Bob Huggins told us a couple of times he had his most talented teams or a great team only to have those teams way underperform.....
So I don't get particular worked up over how they explain something post game or in a weekly presser because its basically all bull crap --- they wouldn't even do them if they didn't have to.
