There's no movement towards an 8 team playoff and no opener clauses in the playoff contract. In 2025 when the BIG 12 contracts expire there will still be 1 year left on the playoff deal.

When virtually no one is discussing any interest in such a change--and by no one I mean those that created, run and pay for it, you are talking about all of them amending the agreement because one conference gets left out. I deal with contracts all the time with my clients. A contract is a frame work in which all parties agree to deal with. A contract can be legally changed If all parties agree to amend the original contract. For that matter a contract can be legally terminated if all parties agree. If you can't understand something that simple then there is really no hope for you.

Any contract can be litigated. It's really just a matter of the will of the parties involved.

Generally, educated parties are reasonable (although it may not appear as so to an outside viewer).
