Cincinnati (Oh.) Moeller 2026 tight end Cooper McCutchan told me that he has been talking to West Virginia for a while and was able to meet the coaches through the winter and spring when they visited his school. Tight ends coach Blaine Stewart is the lead for McCutchan and he told me that he has been super nice since the first time he has been able to talk to him on the phone. The plan is to visit West Virginia July 25 and he is excited to get there and find out more about the program. He hasn't gotten too deep into what the coaches like about him as a player or how they see him fitting but he plans on doing that on this trip. He has already visited several places such as Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Missouri and a number of others. Along with West Virginia, he plans on also visiting Louisville next week and told me that he is definitely looking for a program that will utilize the tight ends and where he has a good connection with the coaching staff.
