Neal Brown to the fans:

So growing up in Ohio, and being younger than me would put you in grade school knowing Archie Talley, an NAIA player in West Virginia?

Careful, you’re going to blow your cover. (Again)

Careful, as pulling your head out of your a$$ without lubrication might be painful. Kanawha Valley homer sports fans have told me ever since I moved to West Virginia 29 years ago that Archie Talley was the best shooter/player ever to walk on the hardwood. I think...make that, KNOW that they're full of sh!t, just as you are. Sedale Threatt should be bragged about more often, as he played at Tech, and actually had an NBA career.

Sounds more like someone who spent some time there in Montgomery watching him play.

You’re so screwed up and wanting to pick a fight, you mention Archie Talley then turn around and put him down by bragging on Threat. I said nothing about who the best player was during that era. But you have to create your own argument in order to whine about something.

By the way, Thermon Battle from Fairmont State was one of the best players I remember from the WVIAC pre New Civic Center era. There, now you can let your BS flow.

Never heard of Thermon Battle, Pestsider. Kenny Battle was one of several stars on a super Illinois team that I saw at St. John Arena back in the day. Archie Talley is the consensus overrated favorite of Charleston-area rum-dums. I'd take an NBA-caliber athlete like Threatt over a one-trick bomber like Talley supposedly was any day.

it was Lerman Battle who played for fairmont...he was awful good but a guy named Earl The Hawk Hawkins from the mighty Glenville Pioneers took his girl and his lunch money when they played each other...them was the good ole days.......JoJo Retton......Fairmont East or Fairmont West.....brought back some good memories...lots of good players back then...Dwight Street from WV State was awful good too

I see westsider is back to making false allegations once again. If you cannot out debate them, make up false allegations.

Any chance westsider is 1/1256 part Cherokee?

A couple of Grenville vs Morris Harvey finals were great games and had the old Civic Center packed.
