Saraland (Ala.) defensive lineman Trevon McAlpine took an official visit to West Virginia over the summer but elected to commit to TCU. Well, after the coaching change he elected to open his recruitment and the Mountaineers coaches stopped in to see him yesterday. Right now, West Virginia is definitely in the hunt here and he told me that he plans to make a final decision on signing day. West Virginia, Oklahoma State and TCU seem to be the three most heavily in the mix.
