First of all I don't want to pile on but I do feel obligated to say that he messed up badly and he let our university and our fans down. That's all I'm going to say. Later on when I begin defending his career I want to be able to say I was being honest about this situation. Secondly and most importantly, we have too much money rolled up into this basketball program already. We need to aim big and go get somebody that can win right now. I know that sounds easier said than done, but I don't want anybody like some jack off I've never heard of. Let's go get somebody that's a proven winner or somebody that can be our program leader for years. For some reason I'm liking Jim crutchfield for about 5 years. I think it's not a big risk, his style fits our players. If we can get Joe Mazzula I would do it today. I don't know s*** but I feel like we can get someone bigger than everybody is pushing including my choice of Jim crutchfield. Mazzula would be a major league land.
