I doubt that he is an option but I would like Chris Beard. Five years
ago WVU would have been much better job than Ole Miss but now
a job in low level SEC program probably considered better than mid
level big 12. Beard is a hard ass and players play for him . I remember
him getting tossed by officials against WVU and he made a point of
shaking Huggs hand before being led off of court. I thought that
showed class at the time. He is certainly proven winner.
I have utmost confidence that Baker will find a good coach again.
Kellogg and Devries both can coach IMO . Devries just got a better
job end of story. Apparently his family wasn;t wild about Morgantown.
I think in today's climate it will be difficult to keep a good coach. We
are all bitching about Devries leaving after one year but want McCollum
to leave Drake after one year. He is a proven winner and I would take
him in a second. I wouldn't be upset with Frazier as he is obviously
a great recruiter. Unfortunately you used to have to be able to
recruit players but now you have to recruit agents or handlers
rather than players themselves.
