Mini-Packages & Single Game Football Tickets on Sale Thursday, July 6

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (June 30, 2017) – Mini-packages and single-game tickets for the 2017 West Virginia University football season will go on sale to the public on Thursday, July 6, at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available for purchase online at WVUGAME.com, by calling 1-800-WVU GAME or in-person at the Mountaineer Ticket Office inside the WVU Coliseum.

WVU is offering three mini-plan options for home games this fall. The Mountaineer Package features four games for $245: East Carolina, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas. The Blue Plan, a three-game option, is priced at $190: Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas. The third option, the Gold Plan, is $185: East Carolina, Oklahoma State and Texas.

Single-game tickets will be available for games against East Carolina, Delaware State, Texas Tech, Iowa State and Texas. The Delaware State game is priced at $55, while the East Carolina and Iowa State games are priced at $60 each. The Texas Tech and Texas games are priced at $65 each. If available, individual tickets for the WVU-Oklahoma State matchup will go on sale at a later date and will be $80 each. For information on discounted rates for groups of 20 or more, contact the Mountaineer Ticket Office at 1-800-WVU GAME, as group discounts are not available online.

Fans are encouraged to utilize the ‘Pick Your Own Seat’ option on WVUGAME.com for single-game purchases. The seats, available online at WVUGAME.com, are the best possible available at the time, pending completion of season ticket and mini-package sales. Available tickets will be located in the Gold, Orange and Green Zone sections of Milan Puskar Stadium.

For fans wanting to purchase mini-package or single-game tickets in the upper level Red Zone sections (204 and 216-219) of Milan Puskar Stadium, a $60 Mountaineer Athletic Club annual fund/ticket priority gift per ticket per game is required unless they are currently MAC members at the Gold annual giving level or above. Upper level Red Zone seats may be purchased over the phone by calling 1-800-WVU GAME, but are not available online.

“Once again, we are pleased to offer different ticket package options for Mountaineer fans,” said Matt Wells, senior associate athletic director for external affairs. “Many upgrades have been made with the stadium concourse renovations and the ongoing addition of a videoboard in the north end zone to help improve the fan experience, and we look forward to our fans having the opportunity to enjoy the new amenities at Milan Puskar Stadium.”

The matchups with Delaware State and Iowa State have been designated as “Family Day” games with four tickets and a $25 concession voucher included in each package. A Delaware State game Family Day package is priced at $150, while an Iowa State Family Day package costs $200 each.

Tickets for West Virginia’s road contests with Oklahoma, TCU, Baylor, Kansas and Kansas State also will be available on July 6. Existing season ticket holders and MAC members should log in to their WVUGAME.com account or call the Mountaineer Ticket Office to purchase away game tickets. For non-MAC members, a $25 MAC annual fund/ticket priority gift will be added for each away game purchase.

West Virginia opens the 2017 season against Virginia Tech on Sunday, Sept. 3, at FedExField in Landover, Maryland. Remaining lower level end zone tickets for that matchup are priced at $110 each.
