I have a friend and past personal trainer who worked side by side with Mike in the S&C department at Notre Dame. He said Mike was extremely knowledgeable in the S&C field.
By the looks of his athletic career he had to have been a pretty tough guy. The feat that is most telling to me is rushing 44 times for 242 yards vs Concord.
I realize this doesn't make Mike running a S&C program that produces players with a "hard edge" However, just in case some think this guy is soft.
