No, it isn't my opinion. It's the fact today. Oklahoma is 7-0, and WVU is 5-1. To quote Bill Parcells: "You are what your record says that you are." It's up to WVU to change this Saturday night. My opinion is that the Big 12 is incredibly weak this season, and I wouldn't bet on either Chokelahoma or WVU, even with your money.

Too funny.....3 months ago, WVU was a B12 bottom feeder and MU was the state flagship. Now you guys are making a case for WVU not being the best team in the B12. Worth every penny of the price of admission. LOL
If you go on the principle of who beat who beat who then North Dakota State would kick everybody's ass.....they beat Iowa at Iowa who beat meatchicken who beat.....blah blah blah.......I say let evrybody play the games and it will all settle itself....but tosu....I DO think ahia state is deserving of the #2 ranking at this point...they have played well since their loss

Well, go post that over on the Oklahoma board, who was steam rolled on their home field by Ohio State. Or, better yet, go post that over on the Oklahoma State board, who lost to a MAC team. Of course, they did regroup after losing to a MAC team, as witnessed by the 17 point ass raping of WVU.
Ohio State is deserving of their ranking. Not sure you can even say Penn State would beat WVU. After watching the Iowa game, UM is not a good team away from home. Not your team but Michigan. Won't be pretty in a couple of weeks in Columbus. Losing to MAC team with a BS extra play is weak argument but you have never been known for your brain power. 0-12

I saw how UM steam rolled that mediocre Iowa team on the road in all phases of the game. How is that flagship working out for you, since you brought up sports ignorance? sorry to have to inform you, but if WVU were to travel to play Iowa this coming Saturday night, my money would be on an Iowa win. As someone else has already typed out, you haven't beaten anybody, and lost by 17 points to a team that's border line top 25.
I wouldn't be so sure that WVU would beat Iowa in Iowa City. Iowa is a schizophrenic team that you don't want to play when it's mood is manic. WVU will be playing its only common opponent with Iowa when it travels to Ames in a couple of weeks. I doubt that WVU will destroy Iowa State like Iowa did (42-3), but that's why they play the games.
