Message from Neal Brown

These moves are moves made from desperation.

They didn't just wake up today and decide to fire someone. There is some, lets say, "fracturing".

Brown is not just feeling the heat, he's getting burned.

He knows what has to happen for him to keep his job but, essentially, he's burnt toast.

Guarantee Brown didn't fire his friend without someone in front office telling him to do so. Namely Wren. These coaches all have buyouts the administration is not going to let a HC fire somebody without knowing how that changes the budget. This came from Wren. And it's probably not going to be the last one.

I don't disagree with that but they're giving him credit for the fire and it is just what it is. Personally I don't think he's a good enough coach to make that decision on his own. But he's the man they're pinning it on, so I guess he's taking credit for firing his best friend. Honestly Leslie may have decided to step down himself just to try to save his best friend's ass. They're both good dudes and they're obviously loyal to a fault in that business.

it's not that hard
Well maybe one day you'll do it then. So far you've been wrong about everything. I don't care. You're just taking up for Neil Brown because you like him and think he's a nice guy. I get it. I disagree but I get it.

This message board is mild compared to what I see on the more popular social media platforms. I live in Morgantown and know a lot of Die Hard fans and they're all done with Neil brown. I don't know a single person outside of you and the other two on here who actually support this guy. I know a 76 year old woman who is DieHard WVU and she even understands that he needs to be fired because he simply not up to West Virginia University standards. You're actually in the minority and the people who want to keep Neil Brown because he's a nice guy are just making the situation worse and are probably even more responsible for this humiliation that he's going to have to go through
Enough with the "nice guy" bull$hit. He's not here and being kept on because he's a nice guy. He's still here because of the circumstances surrounding NIL/transfer portal/COVID influence and Lyons apparent negativity towards NIL, which hurt the program and cost us players. He keeps losing then he wins 9 games. Now they want to see if he can do it again. Money is an issue as well. So stop putting words in people's mouths. Everyone has a different philosophy on how to get things done. Personally, if he doesn't win out he should be fired. But they're not going to fire him if he wins 9 back to back. They already did that and that didn't work.

You are right this definitely won't change the trajectory. This is just a response to those Billboards because he's embarrassed and sadly he should be. It just should not have ever come to this.
Those billboards had NOTHING to do with Lesley's firing. Gee, you don't suppose the bye week where he has two weeks to prepare for the adjustment might have had something to do with the timing? You seriously think two days after a billboard was put up that Baker/Brown ran around frantically thinking of what they could do to satisfy a SMALL number of fans taking matters into their own hands? Some of you nitwits need to get over yourselves.

Boo hoo hoo. I don't believe a word you say. And don't even care
