As mentioned earlier, WVU head baseball coach Randy Mazey is under contract through the 2025 season with the three-year extension with a base salary of $250,000 with $165,000 in supplemental compensation, bringing his total yearly earnings to $415,000. His total six-year contract is worth $2.49 million.

Mazey will also be eligible to receive up to a maximum of $459,000 yearly if annual performance incentives are met.

Incentives:

Conference regular season championship = $30,000

Conference postseason tournament (cumulative):
Participation in tournament = $5,000
Tournament Champion = $30,000

NCAA Tournament (cumulative):
Participation in tournament = $25,000
Participating as a host site in tournament = $10,000
Participation in a Super Regional: $50,000
Participation in College World Series: $75,000
NCAA National Championship: $100,000

Final Rankings (not cumulative):
Top 25 in ESPN/USA Today or AP Polls = $25,000
Top 10 in ESPN/USA Today or AP Polls = $50,000

Conference Coach of the Year = $25,000
National Coach of the Year = $50,000

APR rating of 930 or above, as determined by NCAA = $4,000
