It's not that Massie is wrong. Inflation isn't going down until we stop printing money and make some cuts. The problem is if you cut too fast and don't cut the right things while growing our manufacturing here we will destroy the economy too. So I understand what Trump is trying to set up. This has been going on for decades and our Country is almost bankrupt. The Democrats and some RINOS don't care because they support Unversial Income for everyone. My advice is for all to be prepared for things to get worse before they better. We were in a recession before Trump got back in office. It’s going to take 4 years of Trump and 8 years Vance to really make a difference. Why? Because we elected too many RINO’S and Democrats since the 1990's.
Federal spending can be a good thing and it can be an economic driver, however, that spending must be directed towards things that are beneficial and actually produce something.... So, I will say spending isn't a problem, but what we are spending on is a problem. It's time to knock off spending on social programs for illegals, DEI, and stop giving money to our enemies. We need to take a strong look at our social programs and reform them.... We also need to claw back money that the tax payer lost via abuse of programs like medicare and medicade....and toss those people who scammed us in jail!!!

At least all the Democrats are going to vote against doing anything. You know because they care about spending too much money. At the end of the Day Congress controls the budget. Not every Republican has the luxury that Massie has with those that support him. So this will have to be conducted in a way that doesn't give the Congress back to the Democrats next midterm.
