LOL--remember last year when Herdidiots had Cato tearing up the CFL

It’s far too early to write Cato off as a prospect, but it appears his days in Montreal are numbered.

Herb Zurkowsky, the well-respected hall of fame reporter for Postmedia, suggested Cato may shown the door by the Als later this week when Montreal’s veterans report for camp.

On the surface, the potential move makes a lot of sense given the Als’ decision to anoint veteran Kevin Glenn as their starter and the recent acquisition of Vernon Adams from the B.C. Lions, who received Montreal’s first-round draft pick in 2017.

Glenn is a proven veteran who will have a full training camp to better understand the Als’ system and to better acquaint himself with Montreal’s receivers, which will feature the return of Duron Carter.

Adams was immediately signed to a three-year deal by Montreal.

It doesn’t take much to realize how Cato no longer fits in a crowded backfield.

Zurkowsky would also reveal how the Als were shopping Cato around, but no takers emerged.

Remember when Gino was a sure lock for a first round pick and a starter in the NFL?

Marine, Gino has started numerous games for the Jets. Not saying he is that great of a pro QB, but he is an NFL starting QB. Facts are facts.

And verb tenses are verb tenses....WAS an NFL starting QB.

His jaw is out of money?

Sure is, he didn't pay his money so his jaw was broke. So, technically and apparently yes his jaw is out of money. Some comical comments regarding Gino from Jets fans follow:

“Enempkali punching Geno Smith in the face was the best thing that could’ve happened to the Jets. They might win a few games now. @nyjets,” wrote @MarkFPenguin.

“Gonna sound like a jerk, Geno Smith being out and Ryan Fitzpatrick starting is the best thing for the Jets,” @justinhartling tweeted.

Cato may be taking over as the 2nd string french fry cook at the Huntington Chik-Fil-A...or whatever fast food store that covets ex-Moo U coaches & players.

Funny coming from a guy boasting about a record from 50 years ago

Yet mooshal has never defeated WVU in football and you claim rival status just because you want? Come back when you actually defeat someone with a pulse and we will take a vote, no coaches votes will be counted !
