Ny concern is NIL is a real problem that many of our hardcore fans are continuing to choose to overlook despite Vernon and a few others constantly making reference to it. Neal gets drilled in the big games against quality opponents. Lets say the next coach is 6-6 but loses those games by the average of a single score? Will fans be ok with that. That we go 7-5 and continue to lose to good teams but the scores are much closer? I think other once proud programs are in a similar situation as we are. VT, Syracuse, BC, and Maryland are examples.
