Mounties were down again last night as well...double digit loss to 2nd and 3rd string longhorns! If Huggy loses out( seems unlikely) will they even make the dance?
saw a couple articles online this morning, talking about the Huggs press conference. Lots of finger pointing, but nothing earth shattering there, as that's typical. Huggs seemed to be begrudging getting through the rest the slate. Seems like a broken man to me. Maybe if he's finally elected to the elusive Hall of Fame, it will provide a little pep to his step.
I highly recommend they beat Oklahoma on Saturday...or they could well lose out!
I've said it before, and will say it once more. WVU plays scared, and what I mean by that, is that Huggins wears on them for making mistakes, so as the season plays on, players fear missing a shot, fear making a turnover. It's hard to play that way, knowing you have a screaming coach on the sidelines with a quick trigger. If you have the type of personality it takes to play for Huggs, then you can be a very successful player. It's just a different era now days, and kids simply aren't used to getting scolded by a person of authority. Most likely didn't experience getting their back side paddled in school, and whipped by a switch or belt at home.

WVU will likely win two of its next three games, and SlowHead, Spinney, CuntryTard, and the rest of the delusional wing of the Old Fold & Blew fan base will return with clenched fists pounding their frail chests. Tony: WVU wouldn't deserve to make the Dance at 19-13, as this record would mean that it would have gone 1-9 down the stretch, and finished at 7-12 (including the Little 12 tournament) in an average Power 5 conference. However, I don't see this happening, as Oklahoma is awful on the road and Iowa State, which has lost Tyrese Haliburton, its best player by far, is terrible.

I agree it's an unlikely scenario but...they' re free falling and the Sooners clipped them once this year. Almost have to wonder if Huggy hasn't totally lost this bunch.
