First. Hats off to Keenum and @Vernon and @WV42MU31 @slaton916 and @MARLINS58 on their information for the future of WVU football.
My total opinion, and I really kinda talked to my boss about this. Jimbo just seems like the high risk, no reward type of hire. I’m just not seeing the current draw for how he could get us above where Bean left off. 8 wins? I’d feel better with a much younger OC/DC, or head coach from somewhere else. Preferably. If Jimbo is in any high regard to let’s say any other financially savvy university, then he can experiment there because that school can write off any check to get rid of him. and maybe still has some shine leftover. Whereas we wouldn’t have to deal with that burden of ‘maybe’s.’ I feel the same way with Rich. This is the matter of “getting tot the top and planting the seed” and the future shouldn’t need some older dudes who might be still good or not.
Just my thoughts.
