Last 2 head coaching searches

So, for the last 2 head coaching searches, WVU has went out and interviewed and went through a process to hire a coach (soon in football).

But for Marshall, the basketball and the football coach hirings were basically back room deals with no searches? What's up with that. You all must really trust your AD to hire a basketball coach and football coach with no interviewing of candidates. Doesn't that cause you concern?

You're not alone, as at least 50% of the fan base was not in favor of this rehire. However, the RR fan boys have been much louder. Some boosters allegedly promised big donations if RR was rehired, so follow the money...

it was. Just took longer for the back-room folks to make Wren cave to the $$ guys. Disappointed that Wren went this route.

you can't say integrity is non-negotiable and then hire RR imo. That alone shows the $$ pressure won. It was negotiable
