Drove this road yesterday as I usually do every year or two. Northern border of Randolph County touching Tucker County. Where the access to Dolly Sods Wilderness is located.
If anyone knows...
What, if anything, are they doing around the road? Trees have all been cut down roughly 5 to 10 yards off each side of the road and that terrain is steep and the road is somewhat narrow. The trees were simply discarded off the side downhill.
Widening the road? Building retaining walls? Basic maintenance? Or prepping for vacation homes or regular homes?
Or none of the above?
Then proceeded to hit a deer at night coming back into Canaan Valley. Shew.
