...F'n laughable. Why discount your impressive win like that? It was an obvious mismatch 2 minutes into the game. We shot 15% from the field. The refs definitely dictated the entire game, even though it didn't impact the outcome.

Our style of play was a wildcard. No one knew how it would work against the best team in the country, but we do now. To say you won by 39 because of some freshmen really shows how insecure you fools are.

We didn't hit shots...were in foul trouble 3 minutes into the game

and Calipari left all his starters in through the end of the game. We didn't have much of chance last night.

Re: We didn't hit shots...were in foul trouble 3 minutes into the game

If the shoe were on the other foot...and we were undefeated and playing a good UK team and one of their freshmen guards spouted about how they would beat us? What would you do?

Re: We didn't hit shots...were in foul trouble 3 minutes into the game

Actually it started with Jon Holton earlier in the week and it became a team effort.

"Now we get to go play the, supposedly, best team in the country, at
least on paper," said Jonathan Holton. "I mean, I know they're good, but
they haven't played Press Virginia yet."

Daxter Miles piped up next to Holton, re-emphasizing that word
"supposedly." While Kentucky's 10 top-50 recruits may represent the
deepest roster to march through the Madness, the Mountaineers will
continue using the qualifier until experiencing Big Blue first-hand.
(Allan Taylor comes off as a bit of a prophet. Eh?)
"They play in the (expletive) SEC," said one West Virginia player.

This is why Miles comment in the presser affected nothing. Holton, Miles,
and others had already stuck their foot in their mouth....

You cannot tell me that our guys did not motivate a supremely talented team to come out and play their best against us in an effort to humiliate our guys.

Allan Taylor???? Good Lord, he ranks right down there with Mitch Vingle as a bottom of the barrel feeder......but your right about one thing, nobody can tell you anything, Hurdy.

LOL. It was a freshman's comments and not the NBA talent who comes to Kentucky for 12 months of training before they get their multimillion dollar contracts that made them play so good.

Re: We didn't hit shots...were in foul trouble 3 minutes into the game

do you honestly think no one has ever thought they could beat us? do you really think no one has ever said it? get real... the media usually doesn't give 24-7 coverage to a freshman "who has the audacity to think they can win". the ridicule thrown at him before the game just because he wasn't "laying fetal, shaking scared" was unreal. we had no chance before the game even started.

That's nice. But tell me how Taylor's comment was off the mark. It turned out to be spot on.

Our guys exercised no restraint in their comments (just like our head coach's daughters) and they have been held accountable by the people they talked about. A WV sports writer before the game suggested they'll talk this way until they actually play Kentucky. And you bash the sports writer and not the players.

You cannot tell any of us how Taylor missed the mark because he didn't. And further, apparently Huggs didn't prep his players on how to talk to the press about this game. If it were only one player I would just shrug my shoulders. But three players were quoted in that article. The player who said, "They play in the (expletive) SEC," had better be thankful that his name wasn't printed for the public.

Confidence is good. Stupidity is a whole other issue. Stupidity left its fingerprints all over this week.

We had a good season. You just hate to see it end with such stupidity by both players and the daughter of the head coach. But, unfortunately, that's just the way things seem to happen with Bob Huggins. Whenever success comes into view stupid things are sure to follow. Been going on for years.

Now stupid is as stupid does. You're up now.

Then riddle me this, if stupidity is the issue, why do guys like you, Mitch Vingle and Allan Taylor insist upon continuously perpetuating that stupidity by adding an oversized portion of your own?

Excellent non-answer.

Riddle me this ... why are you so stupid?

It's an outstanding answer, but only if you're not to stupid to understand it.

Anybody who thinks that comments by Daxter Miles or Jonathan Holton has the slightest thing to do with how good Kentucky is, or how well they play, or is some sort or motivation for the Kentucky basketball team doesn't know shit to begin with....... only a stupid-ass fool would concoct something like that, and only a stupid-ass fool would believe that after some other stupid-ass fool wrote it.

So ... again .... riddle me this ..... why are YOU so stupid?

Please, it would have taken a miracle for us to win that game. The talent level was such a gap I thought Daxtet's comments were funny to shake things up. If any fan thought we had a chance you are insane. This was the worst possible match up for our style of play.

So riddle me this, you stupid ass fool....... Why isn't Kentucky 36 - 1 and why didn't Kentucky beat the Mountaineers by 50?

Run along now dumbass, you might be missing a Vingle or Taylor column.

Re: We didn't hit shots...were in foul trouble 3 minutes into the game

Considering we couldn't get passed Baylor in 3 tries, we should've kept our mouths shut. WVU had no business talking trash on a legit Kentucky team. As I said, lesson learned.

I support our players 100%, even when they might go a little too far with their talk (and I'm not saying Miles did in this case). I'm glad our players have some confidence and aren't afraid of anyone.

This is just a case of the media getting another story, something else to talk about. It could get boring talking about undefeated Kentucky for the next 10 days.
