Many of you know gcb personally. He's been a long time WVU fan and supporter and was probably one of the original members of the Blue Lot. He is a very close friend of mine and he, Finnius and I used to do a sports talk show in Charleston.
Well, gcb is resting comfortably in a Charleston hospital tonight after having a lung biopsy earlier today. It appears my friend has lung cancer and further tests will determine if it has spread to his liver.
gcb followed my cancer diagnosis and always called me after my chemo sessions to cheer me up. He even posted news of my condition on the BL.
I ask that you pray for Bill and his wife Fran as they face his treatment plans moving forward. He was in good spirits when we last spoke and was anxious to get his final diagnosis and treatment plans started.
I have no doubt that he'll fight this insipid disease with everything he's got and back posting on the BL soon.
