Good memory, Tony. It was such a scandal that WVU's (now former) President was forced out because of it.

He was but the Bresch BS was just a good excuse to terminate him. Professors hated him from day 1 because they deemed him inqualified and he told the professors that they could all be replaced without a problem. The idiots in the business school were there long before Garrison. I am not sure he was at fault for that stuff but it came out under his watch. If it were not for favors for a senator former governor there was no problem in the program.

Plus it was not an MBA. It was a different program called the executive mba. Different course work designed for current professionals to take while working. Good program soiled by a political hack.

I have seen those things offered by other University's...some with excellent reputations, does the "executive" brand just mean you do a much lower amount of course work and it understood that it is not a real MBA just something to throw on a resume?

I think the coursework is pretty difficult but it is geared more toward being a corporate executive. I guess it is a real MBA but it is a program on its own. I know a lit of people who have one and they are all pretty successful business owner type$.

1. I agree. Finding out there was administration, department heads and professors who would go along with a crooked politician just so his little girl can profit off of their poor choices and career as well as the schools reputation.
