It's the depth of field. The picture was taken to make it appear people were close to the plane. Anyone with a brain knows that is not going to happen. The crowd was back towards the hanger, a distance from the plane, taken with the right depth of field from a low angle and it appears that there are a ton of people there next to the plane.
Trump and the Reps need to move on from it. It's not a winning argument that is going to get them votes.

Trump has an obsession with crowd size. Its something in his personality that he can't help. If he were more disciplined he would do himself a big favor, but he can't. Focus on the border and all the woke shit and he wins. Go off script, but he may very well lose. But he can't help himself. If he can't help himself when talking about crowd size, what does that say about when he's doing much more important things.
That is Trump. I'm not sure what there is to understand or not. I think he has extremely low self-esteem that it shows in many ways, including having to have the largest crowds. Part of the reason I think he's bat shit crazy. Biden has it too...not saying he's any better. Many of these politicians do, which is why they want the adulation and power.
