reading all of the posts and discerning the discussions I've had with others:
1. If we were going to hire Beilein or Kennedy, it would have already been announced. Come to an agreement in principle, announce it to call off the dogs, and work out the little stuff later. I think CaliforniaMountaineer is closest to what is really going on. Beilein either wanted too long of a term or just wasn't received very well (or vice-versa). Kennedy is perceived as being too close to Huggs.
2. Calhoun is possible but a fall-back. Likeable and ties to the program but not first choice. Same for Kelsey.
3. Interim - Most likely at this point with Eilert being the guy. Would likely salvage the roster and give us time to conduct a "real" search.
4. Dark horse possible and again, not first or second choice, and a fall-back.
Regardless, we will know soon and we will continue to ask what happened, what if, etc. Let's hope we can keep the majority of the guys intact and move forward in a positive way. LGM.
