It's almost noon EST

How is Neal Brown not fired yet? I mean Colorado went out and got Deion Sanders and we got Ned Flanders, WTF?
With only 2 games remaining, it makes no sense firing him before the season ends. Better off waiting until the end of the season amd conducting a full scale national search.

I love that you think are process will be any better if we wait
A lot of coaches are winding up their seasons and concentrating on conference championship and a bowl appearance. Why rush a decision and possibly not get the best candidate? Unless we are gonna hire a HC not currently employed (Ex: Jimbo Fisher), it doesn’t make sense. Would firing Neal Brown and promoting his assistants as interim HC to finish the season make anything better?

I would argue that by firing him now, and finding the new head coach and staff, the university (AD) and future coaches can get a jumpstart on keeping our best players from hitting the portal. By keeping Brown until after the season (January 1st), we lose 2 months. So I guess those couple extra millions would be worth it, plus it isn't WVU's money anyways, and if the donors want him gone, they'll pony up and not complain.

We will lose what good players we have waiting

By firing him now, it would bring hope to the fan base. Why would they want to do that? I mean why change when you can just stay the same. It's just not the WVU thing to do.

I consider myself to be part of the fanbase and firing him now doesn't bring any hope to me. Actually, the opposite.
