It is a great day to be a Pitt fan.

True and wvu still gets more respect nationally now in down years than Pitt gets. Wvu has been the better and more respected program for quite some time that's why pittie fans are over here. But keep telling us about how that nc is helping you now.

Who's giving WVU national respect. WVU is a non factor in America. Seriously dude whom do you think gives a crap about WVU. No one does. Sorry if that hurts your feeling but you are fooling yourself sadly.

Pitt recruiting is not a WVU message board topic. Who cares? Delete or move it.

In the last meetings, IF that were the topic

2011 WVU 21 Pitt 20
2010 WVU 35 AT Pitt 10
2009 WVU 19 No. 8 Pitt 16

And if that is the case... the same crickets can be heard for pitt. If a middle of the pack B12 team gets no respect, do you think a middle of the pack ACC team miraculous gets more?

Other than Clemson and UNC who got any national talk this year from the ACC? Even FSU was out of national discussions early on and I don't recall pitt ever being mentioned.

The fact is that the ACC will always be a two or three team conference and pitt won't be one of them.

The B12 will always have 4 to 5 teams in the mix and one day WVU will be one of them.

Sorry if you're chapped...

The ACC is widely known as the weakest P5 football conference.

7 out of 9 ACC games for Clemson were against unranked opposition.

Outside of Clemson, Fla State and Carolina, the rest of the league is a combined 60-72. 5 teams had losing records and three went 3-9.

Carolina won the coastal, but couldn't beat a 3-9 South Carolina club.

With Fla State formerly being down & Miami never being up since joining the league, you've seen in recent seasons the rise of Clemson, Duke, UNC and Ga Tech. Wake Forest even won the league in 06. VT had early success in conference when it first entered the ACC, but could never win the big bowls out of conference.

Why the obsession with Pitt and the ACC? We were talking about WVU.

Really? wvu get's more respect than Pitt does now? Haha..please. Maybe in Clarksburg and Shinnston but no way nationally. All the success you had really helped you get into the ACC (which you wanted) and the SEC (which you wanted).
Well, you're welcome

Yeah I'd say any Monday after December is a great day to be a PItt. fan. You can sit around and fantasize about how those recruits are gonna be the next big thing. It usually ends around the end of August when losses to Youngstown State and the bottom of the ACC start to pile up.

Sure, where do you wanna start? Remember Tyler Boyd, how about Dorian Johnson, Adam Bisnowaty, Aaron Donald, et al.

We don't compete? You offered Bricen Garner, Rashad Wheeler, Therran Coleman, George Hill, Henry Miller, Zach Williams, Phil Campbell, Zach Gilbert, Chase Pine, Kaezon Pugh (remember him?) and they all choose Pitt over wvu. I'd say we compete.

But you still suck at every single sport. No one outside the ghetto even knows of sPitt.

Holy crap. Really?!?

Do you ever actually leave Butler? WVU absolutely moves the needle more than Pitt in football and it hasn't been close for over a decade.
YOU PLAY YOUR SPRING GAME IN A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL STADIUM!!!

The only reason OL wanted the ACC was due to distance and ease of winning a championship. We never have or would fit in there. We actually know how to tailgate.

The SEC was down to us and Mizzou and we lost due to demographics...not athletic prowess. Why else did we play SEC teams on a nearly yearly basis for 6 years? They respect us as a program. We just don't bring the TV's due to the population of WV. Don't act like we were not in that conversation.

Was yesterday another great day to be a Pitt fan? I know I had a great day watching Navy sink your battleship. Losers.
