I realize that it is difficult to go undefeated regardless of whom you play but is it possible that what UK did is not all that impressive because their conference schedule was not that difficult? If they were in the ACC or Big 12 would they still be undefeated? I know they are talented and handled the pre-conference season as well but watching BYU versus Ole Miss makes me think that UK wasn't really challenged throughout the bulk of the year.
I was listening to the radio (not sure of the AM station) and someone called in from TN asking if the hosts thought that if WVU with Browne and Staten returning could handle UK. The hosts asked who Browne and Staten were and said WVU didn't have a chance because he knows of Towns and Cauley-Stein but not Browne or Staten. Said WVU wouldn't get past Buffalo. Pretty uninformed response.
Get to the second weekend please and play the game. Can't win if you don't play.
