As of 7:50 a.m. ET Monday morning, a deal has still not been reached.

Does this mean West Virginia could still be in play?

The report from Birch suggests that the two sides have talked but aren't near the point of an announcement being imminent.

IMO McCollum is going to Iowa and will sign soon.

WVU is most likely talking to Calhoun or Medved right now. I would try my best to get Calhoun. He already knows the Morgantown and Fairmont area and knows the state will support. Medved probably knows Morgantown as well since his wife is from Morgantown, WV.
