Texas and Oklahoma have fallen on hard times in basketball. Let’s hope that continues Saturday when WVU pulls into Texas.

Baylor conceivably would lose twice in the same week that it got its #1 ranking.


Saturday’s Big 12 games:

4 p.m. #10 WVU (14-2, 3-1) at Texas (7-9, 1-3)

#1 Baylor (15-1, 3-1) at #25 Kansas State (13-3, 2-2)

#2 Kansas (15-1, 4-0) vs. Oklahoma State (10-6, 0-4)

Iowa State (11-4, 3-1) at TCU (13-3, 2-2)

Texas Tech (13-3, 2-2) at Oklahoma (6-9, 0-4)

Yet WVU, losing its Baylor mojo, was fortunate to beat a 7-9 Texas team. That's college basketball, unpredictable, because 19 to 22 year olds play the game. But WVU won, Kansas struggled. I was right about it being an interesting day in the Big 12.
