Holgy did an interview with jack arute and they were talking about our evolving offense. One thing I found interesting was that Holgerson said he was going to spend a week or two with coach Leach over the offseason to revisit some of the air raid principles he got away from this year. Said we're going to head back in that direction a little more than we have been. Said he's enjoyed the rushing attack and it won't go away, but it was put in more out of necessity than desire to ground and pound.
What I found interesting is that theoretically we have our same rushing attack coming back, so if it was our strength this year wouldn't it be our strength next year?
Could this be a hint that maybe we have a different signal caller next year that Holgorsen feels more confident airing it out with? Could that have been a vote of confidence for Chugs? Or heaven forbid that means we're losing a RB to the NFL.
