10 win seasons for WVU last 30+ years

Nehlen 2
Rodriguez 3
Stewart 0
Holgorsen 1 with a chance for 2

And Holgorsen is doing it against much better competition than any other WVU coach.

This is the same person who said to fire Dana and promote Gibson to Head Coach. The same Gibson who's defense got shredded all night and was more worried about pushing, shoving and mouthing off instead of doing their job.:flush:

The competition this year is weak, and the competition in year 1 of the DH era was probably the weakest "power" conference ever. Our probable undefeated conference champ this year was embarrassed twice, once at home and another on a neutral field to an AAC team that wont even win that conference. The probable runner up lost at home to a .500 MAC team. Dont play up 10 wins as some spectactular accomplishment off of the name brand of the Big XII. This is a historically bad year for this league, and we havent even earned 10 wins yet, we have 2 games to go and we already know how bad a DH team can implode when his name starts getting thrown around for coaching vacancies.

Well holgorsen has had six years and can't even beat a weak Oklahoma team with what he said is his best team. The personal fouls and lack of discipline is directly on him but you can't admit it dumbass. This guy will never do any better than he did this year. He's a choke artist

You have zero explanation for this logic other than your broken little mind wants it to be true.............

The 1st half of yesterday's game was probably one of the most embarrassing episodes of modern Mountaineer football history. The team was ill prepared, mentally undisciplined and lacked the focus needed to perform well on a national stage. The personal fouls, running into the kicker was just flat out awful. Mountaineer fans wherever you where last night should have been embarrassed by the 1st half. This is a direct indictment of the coaching staff. Holgersen proved once again that he wasn't ready for the bright lights. Anyone trying to direct blame away from the coaching staff clearly puts their loyalty to Dana above Wvu. Six years is more than enough time to prove your worth. He has failed to return the program to the glory days of 2005-2007. The second half of the game was better but we were playing for a shot at the big 12 title not for a participation trophy. The big 12 is weak this year and it was a perfect opportunity to prove his worth. He let an Oklahoma team that was already exposed by Houston and OSU come into our house an embarrass us. Anyone who thinks this guy will ever win a big 12 title after last nights debacle needs to have there mountaineer Patriotism questioned.
UH, we had 3 fumbles (2 were on the 3 yard line) - that's not coaching, that's players screwing up

10 wins is a great accomplishment for any college football team regardless of the conference.

Dana has more chances than most on your list with expanded regular season

Its a nice accomplishment, assuming we get there, but it is hardly some astronomical feat that we can only accomplish with coach Holgs running the show, particularly against this year's schedule and the schedule we faced in 2011.

Ok, let's assume WVU wins the next two games and finishes with 10 wins. You tell me, what win was "impressive"? Our total wins this year mean nothing more than a number and we might as well be a MAC or C-USA team because our resume says exactly that.....

You guys criticized Stewart for winning 9 games with a "weak" schedule. This year, the same criteria should be applied. There is nothing impressive about winning 10 games this year.

Who did Oklahoma beat? If WVU is not impressive but this is OU signature win. How can that show WVU as a bad team? How could WVU be OU signature win?

Thank the gods we all have this thread to read and know that the Eers are terrible and Holgs is a complete bum.
