- Iowa State is tied for 2nd nationally with 2 blocked punts this season.
- Passing the ball, Iowa State is tied for 37th nationally in completion % at 65.7%, and WVU is tied for 105th at 58%. (However, WVU is tied for 15th overall in passing yards per completion at 14.25 ypc. Iowa State is 34th at 13.28 ypc). Iowa State is 56th nationally at 244.4 yards per game (right ahead of Penn State, who is 57th at 244.0 ypg). WVU is 80th overall at 216.6 ypg.

It appears that ISU has some ball hawks in the secondary, so Garrett will need to be careful with taking shots down the field. But, he's still going to need to, and we'll need for Huddy & Co. to win some 1-on-1's.
