IMO, if NB wins this game, the perception of NB will change quite a bit. We all recognize his subpar WVU years in the beginning. Way more than we felt is acceptable with the amount of years to turn it around. At the same time, we also recognize what this team did last year and the hype coming into this season. The offense will be the strength that is lead by GG, White, CJ and Kole. Our defense is what will dictate outcome of wins vs losses. We get a great opportunity at home to make an huge impact. In the way too early ESPN preseason ranking has PSU at #12. Winning against PSU will give NB a big boost with recency bias and the expectations for the rest of the season.
