left at halftime which I haven't done since 1976. Here 's what I took away from the game. Our secondary is young but also very bad, they can't manage to keep their feet on half the plays and somewhat problematic attempting to cover anyone while you're flat on your back. Our defensive line gets no push whatsoever. Very difficult to prevent a score while your secondary is laying on the ground and the opposing QB has time to read War and Peace. Our Sophmore QB , who had played a lot of football at this point, is very loose with the ball. The ball has great value in a football game and it is time he begins to grasp that all important concept or we'll have some more dreadful losses on the horizon. I always thought that 2017 would be our year but I thought we'd be much better this season but we appear to have regressed. Louisville will crush us, so will Pitt. S. Miss will beat us and MTSU and WKU might as well , even in Huntington. 7-5 maybe 6-6 for the 2016 edition of Marshall football but hope I'm wrong...but don't think I am!

The DBs will certainly improve ... but if your DL is that weak, it will be a long long season. Football is won at the line

Only thing saving us, IMHO is we play some really weak teams down the road. We won't finish sub .500 for that reason only but we have a long way to go before we're any good!

Yeah, I was surprised at the lack of a crowd at kickoff, I guess 12:00PM start not popular but weak backing out of herd fans unless they had a crystal ball and knew the game would not be worth attending. I drove 2 1/2 hours to watch the debacle. Yes, traffic a bit heavy and Applebees was packed with refuges from the tilt at halftime looking to console themselves which strong drink!
