I think we got screwed last night....

Re: Yet even with all that ...

If they could have hit just a few more free throws in the last minute, they'd have won the game. You can't win many games shooting 57 percent from the line, and you sure as heck aren't going to win when your opponent gets 15 more attempts than you do.

We definitely did. The call against Miles on that offensive rebound was really a pretty key one. We are up by 6 with under 2 minutes left and just got an offensive rebound to potentially run the clock down another :35 as well as going up by 8-9.

Somebody posted the play on Twitter. He didn't even touch anybody.

BUT ... if we make FTs we win the game. It was still in our hands.

The call for the fifth foul on Williams was a sham. Williams said it perfectly, "bullshit". It's pretty bad when they have to go to the monitor to figure out who he fouled.

Doug Gotleib and Fran Fraschilla both alluded to it on twitter last night

Fraschilla said the Big 12 needs to mandate 4 days off for the officials before the tournament.

The thing we haven't seemed to learn is the officiating isn't going to

change.

It's been shitty all year long, and why people were shocked it was shitty last night is beyond me.

Only 1 two point basket in the entire second half? Combined with abysmal FT shooting? We gave that game away.

It's unacceptable for ANY college D1 basketball player to average in the 50% range for FT's. Just flat out unacceptable.

We sure do. Especially now that some of the 3s are starting to fall.

We screwed ourselves with TO's and missed FT's.... even with

some terrible calls we still had control of the game with 2 minutes to play. We are in need of some serious inside talent. I cringe every time we feed Williams near the lane, its a turnover waiting to happen. He needs some coaching on that part of his game. When Holton has is head screwed on right he actually has some good interior moves like he did in the first half last night.

That T only cost us 1 point and we still had control of the game**

I agree it was bullshit, but we still blew an 8 pt lead with 2 to go**

It wasn't just the T. The T just demonstrated how uneven they were going to call this one. I was proven correct by the rest of the game.
