I still laugh when I think about the time

a friend of mine was a recruiter for an out of state Automotive training school in the 80's. He stole a recruit from Sonny Randall for a kid who was a fb player at Ripley. The kid had a full ride to play at Marshall and turned it down to train to be an auto mechanic without a scholarship.

I'm from Ravenswood....Ripley never had anybody good enough to even play at marshal

......we used to have a saying....."make sure you flush your toilets....Ripley needs the water"
