has some talent! But you boys have to stop just pissing games away without stupid penalties, turnovers and such. That game was winnable Saturday and Baylor can be beaten if you don't beat yourselves again! Just some advise from South home of the premier program in state!

Quit sucking up to the WVU fans, Tony. Doege was recruited to play in the MAC for a reason. Marshmallow U. is back to being unranked, as usual, because the big boys have been added into the rankings again.

After 20 yeas of giving the delusional cousins shit for a myriad of reasons, few of them would call me one of their own! But I thought the QB looked good , when he could hang onto the ball. Again, I saw nothing to dissuade me my the opinion that Okie State is a bunch of Neds though so maybe difficult to truly evaluate WVU. Looks like Texas is the only hope for that league and they looked flawed. So I won't be labeled a suck up. We demand a resumption of the basketball game in Charleston and a equal share of the pop tax!

You thought Doege looked good? Do you mean, other than when he overreacted and peed his pants at any sign of pressure? He's immobile, and hurries his throws whenever he perceives any rush at all. There's a reason that he played at Bowling Green for two seasons, but didn't even make an all-MAC team. Texas has no hope, as they resemble WVU's incredibly overrated 2012 team: Plenty of firepower on offense, but no "D." National Championship contenders don't typically surrender 56 points to average football teams. It was obvious that WVU, which had climbed to No. 5, was overrated when it was 5-0 in 2012, as it had been gashed for 63 points by Baylor in Morganhole. Texas will be exposed, too.

Texas used up their 9 lives on Saturday to be sure and I agree Championship teams must play some semblance of defense. I thought Doege looked OK for first time out, the BU tilt will tell us more.

I almost forgot..."resume the basketball game immediately , no more disingenuous excuses and share the pop tax!"

First time out? LOL...wake up, little Susie, wake up... Doege started for two years at Bowling Green, then the last 3-4 games of last season in Morganhole. He'll be 30 soon, and is hardly a newcomer.

First time out at that level and I too and a fan of the Everly brothers! He threw for a ton of yardage and TD's his last season at BGSU but we'll see how that translates although one might successfully argue that he played against better defenses in the MAC than he'll face in the Big 12. But you're right, I stand corrected, he did play at the end of last years losing season.

Fair enough, Tony. Doege should be a star by 2022, considering that he'll have been a college quarterback for six seasons by that time.
