I love the whining of "we can't help our schedule"...

No, I think Memphis would have a much stronger case! The Arkansas win has been deminished and Iowa Sate is well, Iowa State. Beating BGSU at BGSU will be tough for Toledo but Memphis has already done that .

If Memphis goes undefeated , which I think they will...they will have defeated 2 P-5 teams and 4 teams that spent time in the top 25! That's pretty strong in my book .

Houston is the only team on their schedule currently ranked.

Edit: My mistake, Ole Miss is as well, overlooked them at first.

Not to take anything away from Memphis, they are decent, I would even go as far to say that they are good, but they were lucky to beat Cincinnati. They got a gift call late in the game that handed it to them.

What about Michigan State last Saturday? It seems every year the eventual NC can look back at a game they easily/should have lost!

Hahahahaha...it is hard to see Temple in top 25 and believe it! Memphis will crush them however!

LOL ... Looked right at the logo too because they are right below Houston ... and it still didn't register. :)

So, sorry about that ... and I concur that's not a terrible resume' provided the rankings stay the way they are or close. If it gets to the end and none of them are ranked then that's something totally different.

I doubt it will compare to the top 4 though, because as it stands right now, they will all have wins over top 10 teams. If it expanded to 8 and they had the same record though, it would be hard to keep them out.

You make a interesting point...hard to see Memphis having much success with TCU or Ohio State although the Bucks have sleptwalked through half of the season.
