TFRs aren’t some crazy thing. For instance, one goes up every home game in Morgantown around the stadium. They put them over wildfires. This is actually a mechanism to increase relief air traffic in the area. This is a good thing.
There's no reason to have a TFR for off the shelf drones used by Volunteer Search and Rescue Teams unless they are in the LZ or in the same area S&R helo is flying fvcking around. My point is coordinate with them instead of grounding everything. Every second in S&R is extremely valuable. It's not a sporting event or even a wildlife being contained by Fire Fighters. If latter is what we were talking about then I would agree with you. I'm being told nothing is allowed in the area's affected right now.
