šŸ”„šŸ”„BREAKINGšŸ”„šŸ”„ Huggins statement

The current ass backwards mentality of the media mob is clear as day. Threatening a woman to get and/or paying for an abortion from an affair is not even considered a problem. Hell threatening is the only thing they'd look asconce at. They think abortions and polyamory at the expense of monogamous families are a GOOD thing. That is why Pitino will be less of a pariah than Huggins because being accused of anything close to racism or anti-LGBTQ... is an egregious sin.

Racism tends to be a death knell in sports given the diverse nature of most sports. Tough to have coach walk into the living room of a promising black athlete when he just dropped an N bomb. Anti LGBTQ isnā€™t necessarily going to draw the same ire as that population is not as drawn to sports, either as players or fans. Itā€™ll raise eyebrows, and saying something very over the line could be fireable, but a passing remark about an old rivalry on AM radio would be quite the reach by our administration if they wanted to run with that and fire the most successful basketball coach in school history.

Maybe blacks also need to stop dropping the N word? Especially rappers. It sends a confusing message.

Lots of gay women out in sports and gay women fans. Probably fewer gay men that we know about. I think the Catholics have the power to turn up the heat. Gee got fired from Ohio state for his comments about Notre Dame Catholics.

Donā€™t want a new B-Ball coach. Iā€™ll take a replacement for HCNB tomorrow.

Itā€™s baffling they he is talking about Cincy and Xavier. Who cares?

Xavier took a cheat as a head coach and Cincy will soon be irrelevant again in FB and B-Ball.
He was baited into the comment. Normally he doesn't fall for the crap but he slipped.

Don't think Xavier is Notre Dame weight.

The current zeitgeist is that race, trangenderism, and sexuality (excluding heterosexuality) are the sacred golden calves. These must not even tacitly be perceived as being disrespected. That it why a tempered and nuanced opinion like yours will not be allowed to win the day and demagoguery will be pursued by the rage mob media.

Huggs did wrong here and should be suspended for the first few games.

However, I would love to see the backlash on Gee if he fires him considering his obvious take on Catholics.

Huggs keeps his job and takes some sensitivity training and this moves on.

This needs settled by Friday, in order to save the team before summer. Having it in limbo will do nothing but stir more judgment and "goody-goodies" who claim that they are the righteous and know what should be done (example: Tony and Michael Wilbon today).

How did we get to where calling someone a f@g is homophobic? I can see it being called derogatory, but how is it classified as homophobic?
How did it get to where some people think they can insult everyone else and suffer no repurcussions but whine like a bitch if they dont get to?

There are likely to be parents, students and athletes that would not like to be insulted or have anything to do with a university that thinks insulting them- family or friends is ok. Something has to be done and something significant or the entire u is stained.

They call that "black culture"..... but African blacks would very much disagree and be embarrassed to claim that garbage as black culture.....only in America.
You being an expert on black persons either in Africa or the U.S. what a moron.

Wonder if those parents, students and athletes were insulted by Xavier students tossing dildos on the court. The only stain is you and cancel culture who are so sensitive they pee their pants.

Will be forgotten by the next big story which likely occurs in the next day.

There is a remarkably low amount of people who will take something like this to heart. Did PSU football camps shut down after it was apparent they were funelling kids into forcible rape by a disgusting pervert for years? I think weā€™ll survive an AM radio comment that was really just hyperbole to describe Xavier fans.

Holy f$&k am I amazing. I didnā€™t see the fine coming but the rest was spot on.

I think he was having a day off, having a few drinks at home and got a surprise call. Fags used to be called queers perjoratively. Now they loudly and proudly claim the label. Dumb, drunk maybe, but a tempest in teacup. Fine him, whack his peepee and move on.
FINE. ASSESSED - PEEPEE WHACKED, DONE and DONE
